Hi Karen, please forgive the intrusion, but I noticed your posting re Tully and DNA.
I have started a Coverdale Y-DNA project with Family Tree DNA. I would like to invite you to read the background and learn how this can help with some of our Coverdale questions.
You can visit the Family Tree DNA web site at familytreedna.com. To read about Coverdale, you must click on Projects, and then enter the surname Coverdale in the search box. It is not listed yet because it is the beginning and we have zero participants as yet.
We need male participants bearing the surname Coverdale, or one of its variants, like Coverdell or Coverdill. If you are a female genealogist, or a non-Coverdale male, you might be able to find a close male Coverdale relative to contribute. Over time, and as more contributors come in, it can get really interesting. I learned that, by participating in the Bartlett project. Since I am a Coverdale by my maternal line, I can't contribute to this one, but I can help by coordinating and helping to analyze the results. Please let me know any of your questions about this. I hope you will join in!
