I just discovered today that another daughter, Eliza Tupker/Tuepker born about 1846 married a Herman Woelke/Waelke/Wolke. I suspect I see them in the 1870 census of St. Louis, living with her husband's mother, Anna, just a few doors from her other two sisters Louisa Tupker Westenfeldt and (Catherine) Sophia Kuhlmann. I haven't found the the Woelke family yet in the 1880 census of St. Louis, but did find them in 1900 St. Louis and it said that the Waelke famkly had had 8 children with seven living. The 6 listed children were Henry, William, August, Herman, Adolph and Louisa.Next door were Charles and Anna Kopictcke (Kopitzky) and son Charles.I am assuming this was Charles (aka Carl) and Anna Woelke Kopitzke who were married April 24, 1892 at St. John's Luthern Church in St. Louis.
I also discovered that both the Kuhlmann parents (Henry and Sophia Tupker Kuhlman) died before 1880, with Sophia dying first per his probate. The Kuhlman's left three orphaned minor children, Henry, Amelia and William, aka Fritz).Henry Westenfeldt died before 1880 and his wife, Louisa Tupker died in 1885 per probates in St. Louis.
More information will be forthcoming in the months to come.....or anyone can contact me in person via my email addresss or here on this forum
