Hi Nancy, I have found the following:- John Turnbull b. Oct. 07,1806. Marriage 13 April, 1828, Glasgow, Lanarkshire to Janet Yuille. In the 1841 Census he was a ropemaker, 1861 Census, Church Officer.His parents were John Turnbull & Allison Noble. 1871 Census has him as a House Factor. Daughter Margaret, seamstress, born 1830; son, John, born 1831, Andrew born 1833; William, born 1839.
Andrew Turnbull b.1834 mar. to Marg. McNeil.1861 Census shows him as a Baker Journeyman;1871 Biscuit Van Driver.Had a son named John born 1859.
Mar. to Elizabeth (born 1834) Children: John born 1859 (van boy according to 1871 Census); Andrew born 1862; Jessie Y. Turnbull born 1866 (female); Margaret McK. born 1869. They lived at 43 Clarence St. Back Land.All children born in Tradeston, Lanarkshire.There are also two stepdaughters;Martha Brown born 1859, Eastwood, Chorabeback and Elisabeth born 1861 at Eastwood.
1891 Census shows John Glen Turnbull born 1858 in Lennoxtown, Stirlingshire.Address: Kennishead Road, Eastwood, Renfrewshire.He was a sketchmaker.Daughter was Jessie, born 1880 in Eastwood.Wife Jane was born 1858 in Greenloaning, Perthshire.
