Here is some info given to me by my mother-in-law, it is sketchy but it is all I have. Thanks, KatheBob (Robert Earl Twilley) says he doesn't know who his ancestors are. They have a Twilley reunion in Georgia (which is where Bob's Twilley clan comes from) each year around Labor Day. Bob has an Aunt Mary Twilley in Stillwell, OK who knows the background of the Twilley clan. We aren't certain she is still alive. Bob's dad was Henry Earl Twilley and Bob's grandfather who was on the Cherokee Indian role was William D. Twilley. William D. died in the 20s from being shot while working in the corn field. If you or Edward don't know that story I will tell you more in detail. That's as far back as we know. Clay Twilley (he should be in his 80s) in Stillwell, Ok is still living, he is a brother to Henry Earl as well as there is another son of William D. Twilley, Johnny Twilley. He lives in California and is the youngest of the four sons of William D. Twilley. There was one girl (I think her name was Pauline) and she died from cancer probably 25 years ago. She lived in Alaska at the time of her death and I'm not sure she isn't buried there. Earl died in the 70s from a heart attack at the age of 63 and his brother Hugh also died around 60 from a heart attack. The other two have made it to their 80s. The mother, Daisy Mauldine Twilley, and wife of William D. lived to be in her 80s.
