Many members of the family of John H. Tynes and Eddie Eula Oliver that Travis Tynes listed are mentioned in the following obituary (note some name variations, such as HOYLE instead of ROYAL), dated 26 April 2001, in an Oklahoma City newspaper whose name I unfortunately didn't note.Curiously, your grandfather seems to be the only member of that family not mentioned.
Mary Lee HOYLE
Graveside services for Mary Lee HOYLE of Oklahoma City , formerly of the Wetumka area, were held April 21 at the Wetumka Cemetery with the Rev. Keith KLOSSNER officiating.
She was born April 22, 1908 in Tulsa to John Henry TYNES and Eddie (OLIVER) TYNES and died April 18 at the age of 92.
She was reared in Ringling and had lived in Waurika but had lived most of her life in Wetumka.
Mrs. HOYLE attended the Texas Banner Church of God, Horntown, and enjoyed quilting and working in her flower beds. She also loved cooking and canning vegetables from her garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie HOYLE, in 1989; her parents, John and Eddie TYNES; three brothers, Earl TYNES, Charlie TYNES and Walter TYNES; three sisters, Martha GILL, Myrtle GLOVER and Nora CISCO; and one daughter, Modine HOYLE.
Survivors include two daughters, Eddie Lou WAGONER of Oklahoma City and Bobbie ROBERTS of Holdenville; five grandchildren, Charles WAGONER of McLoud, Brenda LUCKY of Calvin; James ROBERTS of Wetumka, Kathy MCKITRICK of Texas and Pam WAGONER of Oklahoma City; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Harry WAGONER, Luke ROBERTS, Jason ROBERTS, James Russell ROBERTS, Robert MCKITRICK and Nathan MCKITRICK.
Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home of Holdenville.
