The Edward Croker TYRRELL obtained the name Croker from the marriage between Richard TYRRELL of Cappavarna, Co Galway, and Ann Catherine CROKER.She was the eldest daughter of Andrew CROKER (who died at Cappavarna in February 1763).This Richard TYRRELL may have been Town Major of Galway.See:
