Hi Mary,That was a great find.Unfortunately, I do already have that information. As a matter of fact, William Harvey Uptegrove (William H.) is beleived to be the son of Richard Uptegrove, b. 1783.And he is the brother to Josiah Pierson, who is my gg-grandfather. (see my website for the lists at http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/liese/archives.htm...look for the FamilyTree Maker link in the genealogy section) The Peter I mentioned in my prior post (that is found in Sussex County) is supposed to be the father of Richard. It appears that there were most likely 2 branches of Uptegroves living very closely to one another during the time period of the people you found in that cemetery. The father some of the other names you mentioned finding in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery are the sons of Jacob, b. 1787, who's father is John b. abt 1750.I'm still researching group and hope to untangle it soon, there is some mixed and intertwinded information, i.e., marriages.I'll let you know when and if I find more on this, and I'll keep my eyes peeled for Rachel.
