I believe Thomas Urquhart married Isabella Cameron c1822 in Dingwall. Children born in Dingwall were: Anne Nov. 16, 1823; John Oct. 16, 1825; Alexander Aug. 6, 1828; Angus April 2, 1832; Elizabeth Ross Jan. 1, 1835 and died Oct. 1838; Isabella May 1838; Elizabeth Ross Oct. 5, 1840; and Mary J in 1842.
Thomas died Aug 27, 1864 and Isabella died Dec. 12, 1878 and both are buried in St. Clement's Kirkyard, Dingwall.
Thomas is the son of John Urquhart, died March 4, 1856 in Dingwall, and Mary Junnor, and is the grandson of Hector Urquhart and Christy McKenzie. Isabella is the daughter of Alexander Cameron and Anne Bethune.
Alexander, above born Aug. 6, 1828, emigrated to Wallacetown, Dunwich Twp., Elgin Co., Ontario, Canada in 1847. He carried on a tailoring business and a general store. He married Sarah McCallum on March 23, 1854, daughter of John McCallum and Margaret McAlpine who were married May 18, 1811 in Parish of Kilmichel-Glassary and emigrated to Canada in 1819.
One of Alexander and Sarah's sons was Thomas Urquhart who was the Mayor of Toronto in 1903-4-5.
Alexander died Aug. 6, 1886 in Elgin Co. and is buried in Black's Cemetery. Sarah died Oct. 23, 1893 in Toronto and is buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
