You might want to try Scotland's People website at: http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/This is a pay-per-view website but it is not expensive. They have vital records and census records. You can look at the record images, and trace backwards. I have had success with this website with my Dingwall Urquharts. I have also looked at the census on microfilm that I read at my local LDS church genealogy library. I have the monumental inscription book for St Clement's Churchyard in Dingwall, with quite a few Urquharts in it.
