I am looking for information about Thomas H. Uzzell, who worked as a writer, editor, and teacher in New York City during the 1920s and '30s, and later (ca. 1960s, at least) became a professor of English at Oklahoma State University. He was probably born in the late 19th century, and appears to have attended Columbia University journalism school in the 1910s.He was a fiction editor at *Collier's* Magazine, taught seminars in fiction writing at New York University, and published several books on the craft of writing, including *Narrative Technique: A Practical Course in Literary Psychology,* *Writing as a Career,* and *The Technique of the Novel.*He also helped to edit the "Big Book" of Alcoholics Anonymous, and it is in this regard especially that I am interested in him.
I would very much appreciate any information about THomas H. Uzzell, particularly information about any descendents and/or papers that survive him.Thank you in advance for your help with this matter.
