Hi Rich I wanted to point out that there is no proof that Catherine Munson married Ralph Griffin. It was printed as fact in the Munson Record, but that list is undocumented. I think it is highly likely that Ralph and Catherine did marry, but the circumstantial evidence is fairly thin. It rests on the folllowing.
1. Ralph and Catherine named a daughter Ruth and Catherine Munson had a sister Ruth. 2. Ralph, Allen Munson (son of Catherine Munson's brother Elisaph), and Benjamin VanCleave who m. Ruth Munson are listed consecutively in the 1795 Shelby Co., Ky. tax list. 3. Generally, Ralph's migration parallels that of Samuel Munson, except that we can't definitely put Ralph in the same neighborhood as the Munsons in North Carolina.
