In regard to a lineage for William B. McConnell, I can't do a darned thing for you. However, here is what I have on Emma McPherson VanDerCook. Emma was born 25 June, 1857 in Fremont, Sandusky, OH, the eldest of the three known children ofFrederick and Emeline E. (MC PHERSON) VanDerCook. The data I have says that she died 2 July, 1935 in Fremont, Sandusky Co., OH. Frederick VDC was eleventh of the twelve children of Henry S. and Margery (LESTER) VanDerCook. Henry S. was a lieutenant in the 12th Brigade from Troy, New York in the War of 1812.His family moved from the Pittstown, Rensselaer County area to Erie County, Ohio in 1826. Henry S. VanDerCook was the third child of Simon and Laventje "Fevine" (VAN DER HOOF) VanDerCook. Simon VanDerCook fought alongside his brothers in the 14th Regiment of Albany Co., Militia in the Revolutionary War. Simon was the fourth of eleven children of Michael and Cornelis (VAN NESS) VanDerCook.
The only information I have on any children from the marriage between William B. McConnell and Emma McPherson VanDerCook is for a daughter, Eula McConnell, born 6 June, 1881. She married Albert Otto BAUMAN 19 October, 1904 in OH and they had a son...William McConnell Bauman, born 12 May, 1909. Sadly, I am missing a lot of pertinent data here, but hopefully you will be able to discover this on your own.
