I am one of a group working on an official history of the Wisconsin 23rd Regiment .One of our men is George W. Van Lone "Van Loan".He enlisted 11 Aug 1862 at Okee, WI.He survived the war and was married ? to Margaret ?He d. 30 Jul 1898 and is buried at Forest Home Cemetery, Cook Co., IL as George W. Van Loan.
This is all the information we have.If you can help us fill in any of =
our blanks we would be grateful.
