From your message, I can't tell if you have accessed John Littell's 1852 book, First Settlers of the Passaiac Valley, page 382.If not,let me know and I'll send the page re Samuel Van Sickle and his descendants. My interest is in Sam'l's son Zachariah Van Sickle who married Mary (Polly) Littell in 1763 in New Providence NJ.John L. wrote that their son Zachariah Jr. married Rosannah Bowman Oct. 20, 1789.Since he gives the exact date, the marriage must have taken place before the family left NJ.Zach. Jr. is listed as the 5th of 5 children, with the note that he, his parents and all his sibs except Huldah moved to western PA, consistent with your Greene County tax list findings. No sib named Anthony is listed, but John L. didn't pretend to have complete data about people who left NJ.However among his listing of SAMUEL'S children, besides Zach. Sr., are an Anthony and a Christian. He gives no details on either, but in my own Bowman family (no relation to Ros. that I know of) records Christina is occasionally spelled that way. Also of possible interest, Mary Littell's paternal grandfather was named Anthony. I am a Littell/Little researcher now writing brief bios of each of Andrew Littell's 7 children, including Mary.I'd like to know where and when she died, etc.But most of all I'd like to know if the Van Sickle family connection included a Griselda/Grissell of the right age to have married Mary's brother Ephraim 1780-1790. Can't find a maiden name for Ephraim's wife. If any readers will be in/near Union County, NJ on Oct. 18/19, please note that all the county's house museums will be open then - 10-5 on Sat. and 1-5 on Sun.You can visit the Littell-Lord Farmhouse Museum and Farmstead in Berkeley Heights where Mary (Littell) Van Sickle lived as a girl.
