Van Siclen Heir????
Anyone out there still researching for the descendants of the Van Siclen family; I am 1 of MAYBE 100 living descendants (as I have been able to research and find)that descend DIRECTLY from Phoebe Bloom and Theodorus Van Siclen...this is my blood:
Theodorus Van Siclen, born 8 October 1780, christened 8 July 1781 New Hackensack RDC, died testate 26 May 1830, son of Jan, or John, Van Siclen and Catalyntie Van Wyck. (John married at Fishkill on 20 October 1768 to Catalyntie Van Wyck, "of Kings County," born 7 May 1749, died at Fishkill, Dutchess County, New York, 23 January 1835, aged 85.8.16 [gs],daughter of Theodorus Van Wyck and his second wife Sarah Martense).Theodorus Van Siclen married first, at the Fishkill RDC, 5 September 1801 Phebe Bloom, born 13 March 1785, christened at the FishkillRDC 26 June1785, died 24 May 1818, daughter of Benjamin Bloom and Jemima Thurston.
By his first wife, Phebe Bloom, Theodore Van Siclen had issue 1. Jane Van Siclen, baptized 18 March 1804, Fishkill RDC, married Benjamin Roe and removed to Penfield, New York, where she died (cause was consumption-August 3, 1854 and Benjamin-May13, 1854 died of Palsy or shock) in Penfield, Monroe, New York...
I have record from me going back to the Van Siclen, Roe, Van Wyck, Thurston, Montross-Montrose, Bloom, Lawrence and Aslop families...
My grandfather (in 1902) as well as his siblings were mentioned in a newspaper as 1 of 12 heirs to a tract of land in New York City-the Heart of New York City and had an estimated value of $60 Million dollars...
HHHHHEEEEELLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
