I have a database with some 8,000 plus family group sheets on Van Tassel in various spellings.I use a unique numbering system so I can track all.
Your Jean I have as Eugenia #7024 b 1863
She is d/ George VT (564) [1826 - before 1891]and Elizabeth GREELY (1826 - 1909) different from what you have but who’s counting?
They had 7024Eugenia(Jean)1863 7025CharlesFletcherc 1864 NSshown in 1871 and 1881 census in family home;d Single 11/16/1909** 7026Eben1858From 1871 census** 7027Ada1860From 1871 census** 7028CharlesF1867From 1871 census** Lizzie “Elizabeth”Mc 1880in 1881 census but not in 1891 census suggesting she died young **
So you can see that the only continuation I have on this family is Eugenia who I have as born 1863 and no death date. Her history text reads “She is shown in the family home in 1871 and 1881 census in Digby, NS.Jean VT TINKLER lived near Campobell Island NB”
Their children TINKLER are BowlingAston1900d 4/2/1979; a veteran of both World Wars ** Annieno datenot in sister’s obit ** Maggieno datenot in sister’s obit ** Jackno datenot in sister’s obit ** LottieEva1901d single 6/28/1978 in Yarmouth NS ** male child10/20/1897from Digby Museum records **
