William Henry Van Tuyll (early 1800's/Boston, MA?)
Does anyone have any info on a William Henry Van Tuyll, wife's name Catharine?
According to his daughter's (Louisa (Van Tuyll) Schanck) obituary (15 Feb 1877), "she was the daughter of a sea captain, and when but a small girl, herself and sister, had the pleasure of a voyage to China with their father."
Louisa is thought to have been born in Boston. It is also suspected that William Henry Van Tuyll's "home port" was Boston.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Kindest regards,
Chris English
