Sorry, I only have one Beatrice de Vaux in my files. She was the daughter of Hubert de Vaux, Lord of Gillesland, who died ca. 1165. She died 1216/17. Her husband was Sir William de Briwere, who died 1226. I am a descendant of 3 of their 5 daughters.
The above persons can be found in this excellent medieval index which is much better than anything Ancestry has. It may help in some other medieval ancestral research. http://www.geneajourney.com/mainindex.html#tophttp://www.geneajourney.com/mainindex.html#top
I had (and still have) a Rootsweb file but let my subscription to Ancestry go a couple of years ago due to a dispute with that group. Much of the data found in Ancestry/Rootsweb is entered without verification by LDS folks (and others) just wanting to do what I call "clock numbers" in GedComs. None of my work is in GedCom form and all is in narrative format in the similar style that Douglas Richardson wrote Plantagenet Ancestry and Magna Carta Ancestry. Both have been the foundation for my work on my ancestors Richard More and Rev. William Skepper, both gateway ancestors with more medieval ancestry than I could ever possibly document so I have had so chose only the most illustrious lineage to work on.
