The Vermillion Book might be available in the large reference book section of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Family History Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Things that are written by private individuals and sent to SLC are then either open to the public view, or not according to the authors wishes. And, of course, everyone doesn't send their histories in. But, it would be worthwhile to see if there is one there. Who knows, there could be several. In fact, I will now go to their website to search for that kind of history for several of my surnames I'm searching for. The website is familysearch.org.Other than that, I'm not sure where you could see a copy, unless I have one in my boxed up materials from my aunt who died several years ago. I think she had one. It was my dad's sister. They are children of Henry Franklin V., son of James Harvey V., son of James D. V., and then several generations that I don't have, and then Giles and Jane. Do you have any further back than Giles? I haven't found anyone who does have that far. First, I want to fill in where I don't have those several generations. This was a little talkative, and not very informative, and I will have some time in a week or two to do some searching in my boxes etc to see what I do have from my aunt. I know I have some of her writings at least about the family history. So, will be on and off the forum for the next couple months, as we travel and then move. Thanks for responding. More later. Sally---by the way, I don't know many 'Sally' people, do you?
