Hi Marsha, like you, I took some time off to work on another line - which I am proud to say, I actually climbed a brick wall and found the other side!
Now back to this brick wall----I feel it's time to get started again. You mentioned George Veysey and John Veysey of Thelbridge. What I find on them is that George Veysey is from Witheridge and he married Mary Veysey - sister of John Veysey. Thelbridge is slightly south of Witheridge. There is a document that is dated 10 Sep 1737, that names George Veysey and his wife Mary, also John Veysey and his wife Grace. George bought Overhill in Withridge on 24 Apr 1733 from Hugh Greenslade of Dulverton (DD/DP 42/7).He then sold Overhill on 100 acres in Withridge in 23 Nov 1737 (DD/DP 42/7) George then purchased Middle Hill on 11 May 1735. There is another document that refers to Thomas Veysey, son of George Veysey . Thomas was born about 1721 Could this be our Thomas?
