I will pull out my docs, accumulated mostly by my mother during the 60s-90s.I do not immediately recall a Mary circa 1760.Most of my Virdens, except my father, stayed close to home -- which was Harbison, Delaware, with a lesser aggregation in Lewes where they first entered the Colonies more or less at the time of your Mary's birth. In case you have not been to the Lewes-Harbison area, I can tell you that there are dozens of graves bearing the Virden name in various graveyards thereabouts, either Virden alone or hyphenated with one or another name (one thing can give us pleasure, no one seemed anxious to get rid of the Virden name by marriage).I have 32 or more early relatives buried at the Coolspring (or is it Cold- ?) Presbyterian Church near Harbison.
