My 3G-grandparents, Reuben Valentine and Mary Ann Olds, are believed to have lived in the Belah LA area during the 1800's, and Mary Ann is buried in the Belah cemetery. I've found the Valentine and Volentine persons identified below listed as being buried in Belah Cemetery, and I'm trying to determine how each of them may be related to each other and my Valentine ancestors.
The following shows in order a burial index number, name, birth date, death date, block and section:
2046. VALENTINE, Audis A. Feb. 01, 1919 Aug. 19, 1980 N AC-61
2047. VALENTINE, Luella M. Apr. 18, 1915 Sept 23, 1985 N AD-61
2048. VALENTINE, Martha Taylor Oct. 18, 1895 Apr. 17, 1983 N AB-61
2049. VALENTINE, Mary Ann Olds 1829 1900 A O-13
2050. VALENTINE, Mary H. Parker Nov. 13,1923 N AC-61
2051. VALENTINE, Melvin A. Mar. 20, 1930 Nov. 03, 1991 N AD-63
2052. VALENTINE, Sue O AE-63
2053. VALENTINE, Willard Hurley May 04, 1915 July 28, 1996 N AD-61
2054. VALENTINE, W. Lonnie Oct. 08, 1891 May 14, 1961 N AB-61
2059. VOLENTINE, Eli J. 1876 1948 J K-45
2060. VOLENTINE, A O-13
2061. VOLENTINE, Martha J. 1880 1951 J K-45
I believe that the #2060 Volentine entry is my 2G-grandfather, William John Valentine/Volentine, who is known to be have been buried in this cemetery on 14 Jan 1927. I have an obituary confirming this fact, and I believe that his tombstone is the one next to his mother's (#2049) marked simply as "Volentine".
In addition, Epsy Valentine Hailey, a daughter of Reuben Valentine and Mary Ann Olds, and her husband, are buried near Mary Ann:
780. HAILEY, Epsy July 11, 1855 Dec. 25, 1933 A K-12
807. HAILEY, Josephus May 05, 1845 Aug. 25, 1922 A K-12
There are other Hailey burials in this cemetery, but I don't have information about Epsy and Josephus' children, so I don't know which of these may be their children.
Any information or leads about these Valentine/Volentine family members buried here would be appreciated. I'm also searching for newspaper obituaries for each of these folks.
