Ed;, I haven't done much research on the Waddington's. I found a referance in Marriages of Richmand Co. Va. the following:Abraham Kenyon, Gentleman, (16??-1750) of King George Co. Va, his will was recorded in the now lost Will Book One but he had a inventory of his estate that was recorded. He married Elizabeth Waddington the daughter of Francis and Margaret (Thomasin) Waddington. He had no sons and 6 daughters who are Frances Kenyon; Sarah Kenyon; Elizabeth Kenyon; Ann Kenyon; Million Kenyon and Margaret Kenyon.I also found in Genealogies of Va. Families Vol 4 taken from Tylers Quarterly Historical and Genealogical Magazine the following ref:Maj. William Newton married Elizabeth Kenyon one of the six daughters of Abraham Kenyon and Elizabeth Waddington his wife of King Geroge Co. Va. The ref showed her ancestry as; Simon Thomasin who died in Stafford Co. Va 1701 then down to his daughter Margaret Tomasin who inherited from her father Simon Thomasin 300 acres of land on the Rappahannock (part of Motts land), Margaret married Francis Waddington who died testate in Stafford Co. Va. 1723. Will book K missing.Their daughter was Elizabeth Waddington. I guess I am just grasping at straws since I really don't have the proof as to who my Ann (Waddington??) parents are. The only clue as to her maiden name is She and her husband Roger Abbott named one of their sons Waddington Abbott. Roger was born probably about 1697--1700.I believe they may have married ca 1718/1719 for that is the estimated birth of their first Child who may be Waddington Abbott. I am thru their daughter Lucy Abbott who married John Triplett. In you research have you ran across an Ann Waddington born in the late 1690's. I would appreciate any help that you can provide.
