My maternal grandmother Marie Antoinette Waddy ( would be 106 if still living) was one of- I think- 10 to 12 children of James Waddy and his first of two wives, Ada Montrose Peeples Pierce of Pierces Station Tenn. daughter of William Pierce who lived and worked in Sainte' Louis Missouri as a VicePrez. of the First National Bank of Ste. Louis between ,estimating, 1860s and until at least 1898 when grandma was born at which time great grandma Ada died, or very shortly aftrward. There is one living child of great grandpa James Waddyand his second wife, my dear sweet great aunt Josephine, age 94, also of Sainte' Louis, Missouri. This branch of the Waddys are of Afrian EurAsian( "Indians" are Asians) extraction and I claim all three. There are quite a few, and from what my mom who is a Shears/Waddy tells me are doing quite well. ciao bella shellie sainte'marie, presently in De'twa, Michigan born in Cleveland, Ohio.
