Thomas Wafer b. Stewart)
Listed census - Ouachita Par., Ouachita Co., Louisiana - 1820.He later lived in Louisiana and in Arkansas. He is said to have married Cicily Mabry, daughter of Ephraim Mabry and Mary Poole. The will of Mary Mabry in 1807 (Fairfield County, South Carolina) names her daughter, Cicily Wafer.
Before his death, he was petitioning the government about keeping land granted to the Indians in Arkansas. He left sons behind in each place, although most of his children followed him to Louisiana eventually.Sent by e-mail from Allison Wafer
