I too have been studying these families for quite some time. I believe Experience Brown was first married to an Edmund Wooley who died around 1830 and remarried to Ebenezer Brown II. While married to Wooley they had at least two daughters, Calista (born about 1815-20) and Diantha (born 1828). If my theory is valid, Experience had a sister Patience who was married to a Francis Wooley (born 1799 NJ) who would be my great x 3 grandfather and died in 1851 in Lansing. Patience was born Reeves, her parents Moses and Mehetabel which would make Experience a Reeves as well. A William K. Reeves was definitly a brother and [perhaps] a further sister, Deliverence. There were additionally two Moses Reeves besides the aforementioned, one son of Benjamin Reeves and the other (born 1806 NJ)that for him I have yet to find a logical place. I have studied the land records, census and probate records extensively, however, there is no smoking gun just probable/ possible/likely relationships.I have yet to tackle church records or news print, a project that will have to be deferred to the future. If anyone can find holes in this theory, I would appreciate hearing from them.
