Karl Here is an interchange between Olive Hoffman and myself.
Mike Have you see the attached before?Every time I re-work the Wagers, I come across it and still cannot understand what it is telling us... for some reason I did not xerox the page and wonder if I left out something when I jotted down the information? Olive
Olive For ease of reference I have printed the note here which you sent as a PDF file:
Your PDF: MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION: From "Tompkins County New York Church Records and Dower Books" bv Jean Worden at Carlsbad Library: P 226: Dower Books in the old records room in the basement of the Tompkins Court House in Ithaca (pages 136-149)
07 January 1845 Patience Holden of Lansing, widow of John L. Holden (He died 1 6 August 1844) Lot # l2 land 3 bounded by Benjamin C. Richs, William Corman and George Burrell heir of Andrew Wager; widow of Woolly now wife of Ebenezer Brown 2nd, Benjamin Wager, John Van Allen.
The above information if I am reading it right [it seems to be two notes separated between "George Burrell" and "heir(s?)"] seems to add weight to Karl Swartz´s information and the IGI which I found at the LDS web-site. 1. A John Allen is listed in the IGI as Diana Wooley´s Husband. Above the note indicates that a John "Van" Allen is an heir of Andrew Wager. Karl's information is not violated by the IGI or your notes.
2 The statement "widow of Woolly, now wife of Ebenezer Brown 2nd" fits with Karl´s information that he believes an Experience Reeves married (1) an Edmund Wooley and then married (2) Ebenezer Brown -- but only if this statement is not tied to Patience Holden in the first part of the note.
I am going to copy the forum on this information as I do not have the email of Karl Swartz and I would like his take your note and the connection, if any of Patience Holden to this group. Mike
