Thank you very much for the information.I'm mainly interested in John and Lucinda and their family.I believe that Lucinda is a sister of my husband's gg grandmother, Nancy CONRAD/COONRAD who married John H. MILLS.In the 1880 census, Emma MILLS, daughter of John and Nancy is living with John and Lucinda, listed as their niece. And, another connection to the MILLS family, in the 1900 census, In John and Lucinda's son Charles A. WAGY's household, there is a boarder named Alfred MILLS living there.Alfred was a grandson of John and Nancy MILLS, so would be Charles' first cousin once removed.
I found John WAGY still with his parents on the 1860 Census, Charles was b. June 1866, so I assume John and Lucinda were married between those dates. This line is a fairly new find for me, so haven't had a chance to look for Lucinda in 1850 and 1860 census yet.I'm pretty sure she'll be in Fairfield Co.
Here is what I think I know so far:
John W. WAGY b. 29 Feb 1844 in either Lima Twp, Licking Co, Ohio or in Virginia d. 10 May 1886, Lima Twp, Licking Co, Ohio
married unknown date and place:
Lucinda CONRAD/COONRAD b. 14 Jan 1839, Hocking Co, Ohio d. 19 Mar 1889, Lima Twp, Licking Co, Ohio
1.Charles A. WAGY, b. June 1866, Ohio, d. before 17 Jan 1959, married about 1891 Jennie BEEM, b. July 1867, Ohio, d. 17 Jan 1959, Licking Co, Ohio.
2.Ada WAGY, b. about 1872, Ohio.
I still haven't found any actual proof that Lucinda was a CONRAD/COONRAD.Seems pretty likely given the census listing and her place of birth.Nancy was b. in Hocking Co also.
