Greetings to all the members of the Walbridge Family!
For the past four years, I have been conducting research on the histories of the memorial gifts, including the 18 stained glass windows, in the Nave of the Cathedral Church of the Episcopal Diocese of West Missouri, Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, located in Kansas City, Missouri.
One of these large windows is dedicated to Louise Henrietta Walbridge (1838-1910), who was the daughter of George Brush Walbridge (1814-1852) and Wilhelmina Caroline von Colson (1814-1883).They were married 12 JAN 1836 in Buffalo, NY.
At some point after 1862, Louise married Henry Woodley Musson (1827-1908), I believe in Buffalo, NY, before Henry came to Kansas City, Missouri, in August of 1871, but that is still conjecture at this point.
Henry and Louise had no children. So, my posting here is an attempt to find living descendants of her relatives who might possibly have knowledge of when she was married (and where) and a photograph of her, with or without her husband.
At the time of her death on 25 DEC 1910, only three siblings survived her, and they were:
1) Wilhelmina J. Walbridge Miller of Monticello, NY; 2) Anna R. Walbridge Bowen of La Salle, NY; and 3) Sarah Walbridge Butler of Plainfield, NJ.
(I apologize that I do not have life dates for these three sisters.)
No one in the Musson family has any photographs of these two, but that is not surprising because Mr. Musson was originally from Canada, and his family was there.Because he died first, I believe that any personal items, such as photographs, were passed on to Mrs. Musson's three surviving sisters.
If you have any knowledge of living descendants, or can provide me with a photograph of Louise Walbridge Musson and her husband, Henry Woodley Musson, please feel free to contact me directly at RandalJLoy@gmail.com.
Thank you so much for your assistance.
