In the 1960s Ruth Fanshaw Waldo was actually the last Waldo who lived in the Waldo House in Scotland, Ct.I had several visits there and it was an amazing house- one wall of the house was hinged so they could roll the logs down the hill and into the 6 ft. fireplace.
