Dear Victor,
Thank you!Wow, you responded before I even got back from the grocery store!
I had part of the info you sent, but was missing most of the details. As a matter of fact, I just spent quite awhile this week looking for Sarah Jagger's family. I only knew she was from Long Island. Also, I didn't even have the names of all their children.
George Waldo wrote many long, philosophical letters during his life (he lost the ability to speak due to a "creeping paralysis" early on), and asked people to save them as his legacy to future generations. His daughter (my great-grandmother) Ellen Melvine Waldo Weston edited them to a few hundred pages, and included a foreword, a "Memoir of George Waldo", 9 pages about his life and family.Would you like a copy of the memoir?(To be honest, the letters are a bit overdone!)
Next- Anything on Tabitha Kingsbury's mother?
Thanks!!- Sally Giannandrea
