John [Johannes] Waldorf, the father of the above mentioned Martin [Martinus]Waldorf, was born c 1731, died 1790 in Spring, Morris County, New Jersey.He was baptised Sept. 12th, 1731, in Dutch Reformed Church, New Jersey .and was buried c 1790 in Naughrightville.Probate of estate June 10th 1790==Will, March 8th, 1780.He grew up in Fox Hill area of Morris County, New Jersey.He was Justice of Peace at Trenton NJ.[History of Morris County, NJ.]

[Moritz Crater in his Will,April 24th, 1772, leaves land and personal belongings to 'daughter Eve, the wife of John Waldorf'.] [Note:The witnesses to John Waldorf's Will, 8th March 1780, were Joshua Mott, David Welsh, John Kern]The children were:

The father of Johannes Waldorf [Justice of the Peace==Morris Count JP] was Anton Waldorf[f] born c 1700, Westerwald, Germany.He and his brother, Engelburtus Waldorff emig. to US.
Anton Waldorff [1700-died age 77, Dec 15th, 1777= Probate of Estate January 30th, 1778 at Trenton, N.J.Will dated December 9th, 1777.] He married Maria Kehl [born 1702=died at age 66, April 9th, 1768, Hunterton County, NJ.They were buried in Fairmont Presbyterian Cemetery, Fairmont, New Jersey [the tombstone was in existence c 1976]
