Lois, I'm working on my records - and what I have is in about as good as they will get - just proofing mostly (referring to Group 9 Walker's).You & few others have been particularly helpful through the years - and I am grateful.
I'm having to pass for now as we seem to be stirring up the same questions, needing answers. And it is going to take continuing time resources to ferret out any answer that may be be extant. Someone needs to sit with all the records in VA to see if an answer can be found to many questions.
I had re-reviewed the St. Peters Parish records, and I read an almost obscure note in an original book that "William Walker was b abt. 1716."Have spent a few hours reviewing what I could discover, & also trying to find the source I used in the past (St. Peters Parish printed book where the reader turns the page). Anyway, I copied the Group 2 family members that I recognized - and will post when I am more confident that it was copied accurately.
I believe that the William Walker b about 1716 was the Wm Jr (the 3rd) that died 1 Jul 1717, and the father William Walker, husband of Elizabeth Clopton, died 12 Sep 1718.
Just wanted to comment that Rev. William Walker "b abt. 1716" is said to be son of William who d 1723.This is saying that William d 1723& his wife that d 1728 had another son who was named "William."We did not discuss the possibility that William d 1723 had another son named "William." Thanks again, Lois. I appreciate your keen mind - and the opportunity to work with you on projects like this.
