with one of his witnesses on the deed, Asaph/Josaph WALKER.
NOTE:Buckingham Co., VA., was formed in 1761, from Albemarle Co., Virginia, and at that time the new Parish of Tillotson was also created.
ITEM;Tillotson Parish Petition - Buckingham County, Virginia - dated the 17th of May 1779.
The Petition of Sundry of the Inhabitants of Tillotson Parish in Buckingham County Humbly showith that in above half of the said Parish & County there is no church, nor vestry man. We hope that the old vestry will be Dissolved & a new one chose & your Petitioners shall ever Pray & signed by:

ITEM;The names of Wm. JOHNS, John JOHNS, Josaph WALKER, Antho WINSTON, Jr., James JOHNS, Henry WALKER, James WALKER, and Dav'd WALKER,
are quite important in a Genealogical Research Project, since they all are found, as members of the Tillotson Parish of Buckingham Co., Virginia, in 1779

"Asaph WALKER removed from Buckingham County, Virginia to Madison County, Kentucky about 1781, bringing his family.....................................................
One of Asaph's sister's married Major Henry Flood and another Elizabeth married Col. John Jones. of Buckingham County."

"AN ASSOCIATION" between John JOHNS and Asaph WALKER.
#2:"Proves the LOCATION" where they dwelled, in the latter half of the 18th Century i.e.,as members of the Tillotson Parish, in Buckingham Co., Virginia.
NOTE:Keziah JOHNS/JONES, b 10th February 1760, Albemarle Co., VA., m Anthony WINSTON, who also signed the 1779 Tilloston Parish Petition.
Keziah, was the dau of John JOHNS/JONES m Elizabeth WALKER, sister of Asaph WALKER. Source:"Family Records" available on the internet.
ITEM:Henry, James and Dav'd WALKER are important, as they, along with Josaph/Asaph WALKER, were members of the
1779 Tillotson Parish of Buckingham Co., Virginia, and all had the surname of:WALKER.
ITEM; This researcher, does not know, the connection between Wm JOHNS,James JOHNS and John JOHNS.
