Thank you for responding to my post. Yes, this is my Grandmother, Mary Walkingstick-Smith. I believe that her birthdate is March 3, 1896 not 1886. Mary's first husband was Clyde Ford and they had the following children:
Lucille E. Ford Clifford Marvin Ford Raymond C. Ford............lives in California Clelus V. Ford Lawrence Ford Marvin Ford
Thank you for posting their spouses as I didn't have that info yet. After Clyde died, Mary married James A. Smith or Jim Smith as he was more known as, who was from Tennessee. The children from this marriage are:
Mary Jadine Smith Ona Jean Smith Luther David or Bill Smith (my dad)....lives in Oklahoma James Smith
I am hoping to find my Grandfather, James Smith's family in Tennessee and I believe some in Louisiana where his brother Sam Smith relocated to. I am also trying to find Tah-nie Walkingstick and also trying to determine if indeed Tah-nie is James Walkingstick who was born in 1801? and also who Tah-nie's wife was. I have the family listed as follows:
Tah-nie Walkingstick had two sons, Levi Walkingstick and John Walkingstick. John Walkingstick had Sarah Walkingstick and Wilson Walkingstick. Wilson Walkingstick married Nancy C. Thomas and had my Grandmother Mary Walkingstick along with several siblings, John C., Ada J., Dora, Mary C.(my Grandma), Thomas L., James W..
How do you fit into the Walkingstick family? I enjoy sharing any information I have for my Walkingstick family and enjoy getting any to add. Keep in touch and feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks, Diana
