Theresa, here's what it says in the Mueting book.Eliz. Mueting did a wonderful job but there are records missing and siblings missing as is the case in any genealogy. The folks years ago just didn't think it was real important to pass on or write down their info!!Darn!!In the book, it has James Weddle, son of Amos and Elizabeth Stinson Weddle, married Elizabeth ?? (that's what it says).James b 1793, d after 1860; Elizabeth b 1798 in N. Carolina.Their children are not listed in order of birth in the book and your list is a bit different but as sketchy.I'll put them in date order here:Andrew b 1819 m Sarah Harmon, then m Amanda Aldridge; Amos b 1821 m Eliz Hicks; Henry b 1830 m Lucinda Hubbard; Isaac b 1833; it lists 2 girls, no names, no dates, no other info.Your records show Andrew b 1818, Amos b same year, Hiram 1823 not listed in the book, then you don't list the 2 girls, then Henry b 1830, Isaac b 1833 and Elizabeth b 1836.She could be one of the two girls that the book knows nothing about. The book doesn't list Hiram but there is indeed a gap in dates there.I don't know how you could prove it at this point.I think your documents are a pretty strong case, but I just don't know.I wish you all the luck. This stuff can get under your skin!
