Paul Stanley Wallen, Sr., 75, was born August 28, 1932 in Kyles Ford, Hancock Co TN, and had lived most of his life in Sullivan Co. He departed this life for his eternal home in heaven on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 after an extended period of illness.
He professed faith in Christ on August 18, 1961. He was a faithful member and served as: deacon and trustee for Poplar Grove Primitive Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His faith in God was strong, and he depended greatly in his last days on the comforting words of Romans 8:18, 'For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.' His love and spirit will be missed, but we look forward to meeting him again on that Great Reunion Day.
