My family records were put together by my mom's late cousin, so I can't ask her any questions. But Iremember seeing one of her notes...speculating that Nancy could have been Nancy Anne Walpole. No known birthdate was given on my records for Nancy Anne Walpole.Just speculative dates; My notes say that Anne Walpole was born in 1685, that would have made my ancestor "Nancy Anne Walpole" 43 yrs. old when her daughter Mary was born in 1728 and51 yrs. old when her daughter Sarah was born in 1736 if she was "Anne".I guess that is possible.
Nancy Walpole married James Johnston(e) in England and later settled in Shady Grove, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. They had two daughters, Mary and Sarah.Nancy died soon afer Sarah's birth, and James Johnston remarried. He and his 2nd wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown Findley, daughter of Cornet Brown, had 6 children...but only 4 reached adulthood according to my family records. I haven't found anymore information about James Johnston(e) and Nancy Walpole on the internet, but I have found bits of info about James' children by his 2nd wife, so I know that James Johnston really was in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania. He died around 1765.
If you want any information about Nancy Walpole's daughters, etc. just let me know.
