I spent the day at the Sutro genealogical library in San Francisco and was very excited to find that they had a copy of "The Wanderer - Wander Family of Bohemia, Germmany and America 1450 - 1951" written by Alwin E. J. Wanderer and published in 1951 by Edward Brothers, Inc.
Alwin details the genealogy of four different lines, from four different regions in Germany. I am of the Neuburg line and Herman Wanderer is of the large Crottendorf line.
Ada & Herman are on page 94 and their entry reads:
Herman [Wanderer], b 10-1-1863, Milwaukee, d 6-13-1934, Grand Rapids, Mich., cabinet-maker; m 7-12-1902, Chicago, Ada Jennings, b 10-2-1870, Washington county, Arkansas; in 1936, she m James Shirras.
Child born in Jennings, Michigan:
William Herman, b 6-14-1903, m 12-15-1934, Pontiac, Mich. Lucille Jennings, b 12-8-1914, live in Columbus, Ohio.
