According to C. Loral Wanamaker's tree, James B. Wannamaker, (and the "Babcock" middle name makes sense), was the son of Andrew WANNAMAKER & Mary BABCOCK so a grandson of John BABCOCK Sr. U.E. The WANNAMAKER & BABCOCKS arrived in Canada from NJ in 1791. I suppose this is not new news to you. Have you tried tracking down obits for the suspected siblings, which might make a reference to a sister Lucy PARKS or late sister Lucy PARKS as the case may be?? Was there an obit for Lucy?I am afraid this isn't much help, but I have been working a bit on WANNAMAKERS lately. I am a BABCOCK descendant, and my wife is a BABCOCK/WANNAMAKER descendant. I have Anglican Church baptism for daughter Martha born 1835, bapt. 1838, and there is a Minerva bapt. 1838 same day, ae 16, possibly a sister, but not sure.
