Hi Rhonda, I am a decendant through Samuels son Eliakim. I would be interested in your line to Samuel. I can give you mine also. I have read a little about Samuel at the Salem Mass. witch info center. He was a farmer as everyone was then. He also was a Quaker which may have had something to do with his demise. The Puritans of Mass. didn't tolerate other religions and persecuted the Quakers. His wife Sara Hooper was also accused and recanted her denial to save her skin. Can't blame her. About 10 years later the state of Mass. awarded the families of the hanged damages. Samuels family got 38 dollars which was probably a lot of money then. There is a memorial in Salem to the victims which is quite nice.
