I have a copy of a page from a book on indentures in Stafford County, Virginia.I do not have the title of the book, but the page number is 418:
"57 - 11 September 1723 it is stated that the will of John Waugh of Stafford County was dated 8th of October 1716, and that on 11 Sept. 1723 his surviving executors were: Joseph Waugh, David Waugh and Priscilla Hay (widow).(There is a footnote which states she was the daughter of Giles Vandagesteel.His will proved in Staffored 12 Nov. 1700. Ref. Book Z, page 54.See also Prince William County, VA. Deed Book No. 1, page 312.)On page 65 it is stated that John Waugh, Jr., infant, is the eldest son of the said John Waugh, dec'd.The executors of John Waugh, Sr., deceased, sell 1000 acres of land to Rev. Alexander Scott,Minister of Overwharton Parish."
"67 - In Indenture 11 June 1723 it is stated that Edward Mountjoy in his will dated 6 Sept. 1712 ordered certain land he owned on Potomack Creek sold.He appointed his wife Mary Mountjoy his executor, who by 11 June 1223 had married Joseph Waugh."
