Weakland name variations?

AM descendant of John BROWN (1753 Taneytown, Frederick Co. MD - 1820 Munster, Cambria Co. PA) and Susanna WEAKLAND (1766 MD - 1810 Munster PA). One researcher mentioned that Susanna was named WEAKLY on her marriage record. Haven't checked into that, however.
Other names found in research for this family:
WEKELAND
WIKLAND
You might as well try any phonetic spelling that you can think of. (Our STOUGH line became STYLE in one census, probably because of the regional accent of the person being counted.)Census takers often wrote what they heard since many people could not write when earlier censuses were taken.
