I am seeking information on a George Weatherall who is documented in Culpeper County Virginia in the 1770s. One reference to him appears in Culpeper Deed Book A pp. 144-145 for 14 Sept 1773. It is here documented that one James Shackelford is liquidating his estate to settle a debt to Weatherall--even to the extent of indenturing himself to Weatherall and disposing of all his household goods. In the book Culpeper: A Virginia County's History by Eugene Scheel, it is noted that Weatherall served in the Culpeper militia and served as a vestryman at Bromfield's Parish (pp.33 and 43). I am seeking any available information on this man and especially would like to know the boundaries, parameters and exact location of his land in Culpeper. Thanks.
