1959 OBIT THE DAILEY HERALD, Columbia, Tennessee Mrs. Weatherly Dies At Hospital; Rites Incomplete Mrs. John M. Weatherly, 37, died Wednesday night in Maury Country Hospital after an illness of two days. Funeral arrangements will be announced later through Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home at Mt. Pleasant.The Rev. Don English of Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Rev. W. D. Hughes will officiate.Burial will be in McClain cemetery at Mt. Joy. The body will be at the funeral home. Mrs. Weatherly's husband is a master sergeant stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army. Mrs. Weatherly, a native of Maury County, was the dauther of Mr. and Mrs. Turley McClain of the Mt. Joy community. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by two daughters, Donna and Sherrie Lynn;two sons, John M. Jr., and Don Weatherly, all of Mt.Joy; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Blair of Nashville and Mrs. Kenneth Pinkley of Johnson City, Kan.; five brothers, James W. McClain of Cabot, Ark., Robert M. McClain , David and Jerry Lee McClain, all of Mt. Pleasant, and Alton McClain of Columbia; and her grandmother, Mrs. J. W. Kennedy, of Mt. Joy. John Weatherly was a Sgt. in the U.S. Army and they traveled the world.At times when he was stationed out of the United States, Mildred would spend time at her parents in Mt. Joy Community.One of her daughters, Donna Kay was born in Germany, and they were also stationed in Okinawa.
