Demeytric, Greetings from your Aunt Joyce here in Florida. It,s exciting to find your posting here trying to find out more about our family.I guess there's quite a few of us trying to find out more information...I just ran across my cousin Janet's posting as well.Back in 1988 I went to a family reunion in New Orleans (3rd family reunion) and was given a book that listed all the names of our family members that were known and listed at that time... There has been many updates since then I'm sure.I had gone online to see if I could find out some history of our name and maybe of some of the people in my book and I came across your posting. My great great grandparents were Jaret Weathersby Sr. and Ferbie Newson (Your great great great grandparents) and my great grandparents were Jaret Weathersby Jr.(1875 - 1913) and Eliza Meyers (1877 - 1911).I believe they were all from Mississippi. In fact there is a town called Weathersby Missisppi and a cemetery called Weathersby Cemetery were some of our people are buried. Continue to research and I'll do the same and if I come across anything of help I will post it to you.On a personal note... email me at [email protected] so we can get caught up...Love you and miss you muchAuntie Joyce.
