I am seeking information on the family of PHILIP WEATHERWAX, who was born about 1807 in NY.Their son MICHAEL married CECILIA CROOMER (B 1841, NY).Michael died in 1897 in Wyandotte,Michigan and Cecilia died in Detroit in 1891.Their daughter, ELIZABETH WEATHERWAX (b 1861, NY) married HUGH C. ROBERTS in 1878, and died in 1880 after childbirth.In 1891 Hugh C. Roberts married Elizabeth’s widowed sister, SARAH CATHERINE WEATHERWAX, born 1867, NY.
Here they are in the 1850, SAND LAKE, RENSSELAER census and 1860 TROY, NY census.Their son Michael is my GG grandfather.Michael’s age is 13?15? 17? on the 1850 and 25 on the 1860 census.
