My name is Melody Tuli. I am searching for a Websdale family that knew my father during WW II. He was close friend of my fathers, he however didn't make it through the war. I believe the soldier's name was Dick Websdale. My father spent time with Dick and his family when he had R&R. I can remember as a child his mother wrote to my mother and send her fresh lavender scachets through the mail. She wrote to my mother for many years after the war. Until she couldn't write any longer. My father's name was Melvin R. "MEL" Spader, Pfc. Combat Rifleman, CO.I, 101st Infantry, 26 Div., Yankees. He also spoke the German language fluently, so I believe the US Army used him during prisoner interrogations.
Thank you for your time. Melody Tuli email@example.com
