If Lemuel Stokem married Rachel Weed the daughter of Miles Weed, Jr, as has been stated, it would appear to be "6 Rachel WEED b. 31 May 1786," who is the last child of Miles Weed, Jr. with Mary Gray, just days before Mary Gray dies. Rachel’s stepmother Hannah Scofield must have raised her along with her older siblings.

I, myself, just have not seen any original document, yet, showing the marriage of Rachel to Lemuel Stokem, but they are contemporaries at the very least and living in the same vicinity. I hope I can prove their marriage, so that I will fall among the Weed/Weede descendants.
