According to a summary of Furston's will abstracts on line, an "administation bond by George Weekes of Collinton Rawleigh, agi. and William Weekes of Woodbury, agi; bond only:" was for the estate of a Grace Hellings of Allesbeare, Devon.
Woodbury, Colaton Raleigh and Allesbeare Parishes are almost contiguous and it is possible that George and Grace were neighbors and not related.I am waiting for more info to determine if the Weekes' are mentioned in the will abstract.
If this is where George was residing in 1628 it may explain why his marriage record to Jane Clapp and the births of his first two chn., Thomas and William haven't been found.Records of this period are not available for Colaton Raleigh.
Since George and William are mentioned together it would tend to lend credence to the fact that William Weekes of Woodbury had a son George as mentioned in the 1611 Will of Wm Wyke of Whimple, Devon.
